What we are paid, by whom, and how much.
Rasbihari Sarkar distributes regular plans of mutual fund schemes. The asset management company pays a trail commission out of the scheme’s expense ratio — you pay nothing to us directly, and there is no upfront commission. Because the trail is already inside the net asset value of a regular plan, a regular plan returns less than the corresponding direct plan by roughly the rate below.
